در وزن ۶۵ کیلوگرم که ۱۶ نفر حضور دارند، رحمان عموزاد در دور نخست بانتیجه ۱۰ بر صفر از سد زاین رترفورد، دارنده مدال نقره جهان از آمریکا گذشت. وی در دور بعد با نتیجه ۱۱ بر صفر از سد اسلام دودایف، قهرمان روسی‌الاصل اروپا از آلبانی گذشت و گام به نیمه‌نهایی گذاشت.
عموزاد امشب برای حضور در فینال با اسماعیل موسکائف قهرمان سال ۲۰۲۳ جهان از مجارستان مبارزه خواهد کرد.
پیش از این امیرعلی آذرپیرا در وزن ۹۷ کیلوگرم در نخستین دیدارش با نتیجه ۴ بر ۳ مغلوب احمد تاج‌الدینوف از بحرین شده بود تا برای ادامه کار منتظر حضور حریفش در فینال باشد.
